Network Jacks expand LAN connectivity "in the wall"
without disturbing wall spaces. Each network jack quickly and
easily converts a one-port Ethernet wall outlet into four switched
LAN connections. Ideal for older buildings or other hard-to-wire
facilities, network jacks help reduce installation costs in
almost any network environment—including small-office
or enterprise businesses, government offices, dormitories, hospitals,
K-12 classrooms, universities, laboratories, public kiosks,
conference rooms, and shared office spaces.
These
unique "in the wall"switches support VoIP, 10/100
Ethernet, Power over Ethernet, and local AC power. The 3Com
NJ200 Network Jack offers advanced switching features, bundled
management utilities, and VLAN support. The 3Com® NJ100,
NJ90, and NJ95 Network Jacks are economical, unmanaged alternatives
for sites not needing central control. The 3Com NJ100 Network
Jack Power over Ethernet Bundle includes a P802.3af (draft)-compatible
inline power source.
