How
to Backup NBX Database |

Backing
up the database, either with or without voice mail, can take
30 minutes or longer. Backing up your database and voice mail
may impact system performance and may disrupt users' mailboxes.
New messages that arrive during the backup session may not
be included in the backup. Access to the NetSet utility will
be disrupted for all users during this process. Users may
not be able to access their mailboxes by phone, browser, or
e-mail client.

that you back up your database and voice mail only outside
of business hours. |

1. Open
NetSet and login as Administrator |

2. Click
on the Tab To It icon. |
|
3. Click
on the Manage Data tab under Operations |
|
4. Click
on the Backup button. You will
be asked what you would like to do with the file. |

5. Select
Save this file to disk. |
|
6. Click
OK. The Save As dialog box appears. |
|
7. Choose
a directory and filename for the backup. |
|
8. Click
Save. |
